To be successful in this role, you must be knowledgeable about and excited by the growth potential offered through development of Atlantic Canada’s business community. Based in St. John’s, N.L., this position is a one-year contract. For the right applicant, this may lead to a full-time permanent position.

If your company has recently (or is now  going through) an ownership transition—and you’re willing to share the trials and triumphs of that journey—we want to hear from you! Transfer of business ownership can be from parent to child, OR from owner to employee, OR from owner to an outside investor, OR a a combination of all three. Company must be based in Atlantic Canada.

			On June 17, Dianne Kelderman, president and CEO of the Nova Scotia Cooperative Council (NSCC), announced that former U.S. President Barack Obama would highlight the NSCC’s 70th anniversary celebrations in Halifax on November 13. The President will deliver a 30-minute address followed by an hour-long Q&A in front of a capacity crowd.
As expected, all 8,846 tickets to the event sold out in one day. If you weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket, you still have a chance to attend.
