On June 17, Dianne Kelderman, president and CEO of the Nova Scotia Cooperative Council (NSCC), announced that former U.S. President Barack Obama would highlight the NSCC’s 70th anniversary celebrations in Halifax on November 13. The President will deliver a 30-minute address followed by an hour-long Q&A in front of a capacity crowd. As expected, all 8,846 tickets to the event sold out in one day.
