Dear ABMInsider,
This year marks the 5th anniversary of Atlantic Canada’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Business – and we’re excited to announce that this year, for the first time, the awards gala is being hosted in St. John’s, N.L.
PLUS… #ExcitingNews… the keynote is one of the most powerful women in the country: Jennifer Williams, President & CEO of Newfoundland Labrador Hydro. Jennifer is a 2024 Most Powerful Woman alumni and a lead negotiator in one of the biggest renewable energy deals in North America - the Churchill Falls MOU between NL and Quebec. The first woman leader of NL Hydro, her efforts have the capacity to redefine the continental energy grid and usher in an unprecedented era of energy stability.

Not only are we incredibly fortunate to have Jennifer as the keynote speaker, she is the opening act of an entire evening dedicated to celebrating women’s accomplishments. As the night unfolds, we will reveal the 25 women selected as Atlantic Canada’s Most Powerful Women in Business for 2025. They may or may not hold the title of president and CEO, but regardless of title, they are change makers and thought leaders… women who excel at their job, advance their industry, influence the broader business and make space for other women to step up into positions of leadership.
As we know from past experience, the energy at this event is unprecedented… There’s a reason why this is the fastest-growing recognition program we’ve ever launched. But don’t take my word for it – experience it for yourself.
Plus, it’s held during International Women’s Week. As if we needed another reason to celebrate.
