It’s a scorcher of a day and it’s about to get warmer because, have I got a HOT summer deal for you! Not one, but TWO opportunities to have your company or organization celebrated in our annual Love Local edition. (Okay, I admit it, the heat may be getting to me – at least, that’s what I’m blaming for the uncharacteristic exuberance.)
But still…
The first opportunity is our annual Readers Choice Awards for Best B2B Service Providers in Atlantic Canada. These are companies whose services can help accelerate the way you operate. Important: this isn’t like other online polls. First of all, you can’t buy votes (we’re a one person, one entry type of poll). Second, we do not prepare or recommend a shortlist of candidates: our online voting form is a literal blank slate. Third, No one knows how close any company is to winning their category until we announce the results in our January issue. All of which, we believe, add credence and meaning to the award.
We do, however, give you a broad list of voting categories; you can have your say in one category, or three, or all 23 including six new categories compared to last year. They include, in no particular order:

- NEW! Change agent for process optimization and digital transformation
The other opportunity I wanted to share is our Best Places to Work Call for Nominations.
Being recognized as a great place to work is a proven tool to attract top talent.
Employers chosen as one of Atlantic Canada's Best Places to Work will be highlighted in the January/February edition of Atlantic Business Magazine, both the print and online editions. Coverage will include highlights explaining why you are an employer of choice. Winners will also be celebrated on Atlantic Business Magazine social media platforms and receive Best Places to Work logos to include on your corporate marketing materials.
